Would You Like To Buy A Monkey?
As everyone knows, and as Herb wrote about beside me here, it snowed this week in the mid-Atlantic. It snowed a lot. And people were stuck in their homes for days on end with nothing to do but look at each other. People started to go a little bit batty after 4 or 5 days. Turning on each other. Making snide remarks. Throwing things. Grabbing pans and knives and such. That’s called cabin fever. And it reminds me of a great movie called Cabin Boy.
For those of you who haven’t seen it, you should. It’s about a fancy lad who gets on a wrong boat and makes fish stick kitties while trying to avoid a half man/half shark named Chocki. Sounds awesome right? It’s mostly awesome. While at the same time being mostly terrible. It’s one of those movies that you can watch and hate, but three or four years later find yourself craving another viewing. I guess you would call it a guilty pleasure. I kinda wish I could watch it right now. It’s been a while.
