First Stop: Lynchburg, VA
So we played in Lynchburg last night at The White Heart. Very cool joint with super cool owners and employees. If you ever find yourself in the Lynchburg area you should checkit out. They got coffee. They got sandwiches. They got beer. They got wine. They got books up the ying yang. I could spend hours there. And I did.
So after we rocked out we had our first decision of where the heck we were gonna sleep that night. We stopped by Kroger to pick up some beers and then headed for the Blue Ridge hills to find a place to set up our tents. Started up the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway and eventually found a nice little spot right off the Appalachian Trail. We drank a few beers and listened to some tunes and the drizzling rain convinced us to not set up our tents in the pitch black mountains, but just sleep in the car. So we rearranged the gear so we could recline our respective seats and went to sleep. Woke up feeling refreshed and read to go.
Right now we’re in Roanoke deciding which frisbee golf course we’re gonna hit up today on a day off from playing music. Updates to come.
