Almost Home

First off, I just wanna thank Lou and all of the kind folk at Big Harry’s Pub in Fayetteville. These were the last 2 shows of the tour for a coupla road-weary and worn guys; and singing for some great people at the end of it all just made things that much easier and better. Thanks again guys!

Second, in response to Hanson’s update over to your right on this computer screen, I have not cut any hair off nor will I even consider anything of the sort until august at the earliest. Why august? Why not? I figure I’ve come this far, I might as well make it a solid year’s worth of facial growth. And to boot, my locks should be long enough to donate again by then.

I’d been tempted in the recent past to at least trim the beard as it was getting into my chilis and soups. Hanson makes fun of me for this; but, he’s had a good decade-plus of learning how to eat properly with a head doubled in size due to hair. But, now that BBQ season is upon us, chili and soup season is slowly making an exit. Beard immersion is no longer an issue.

Finally, I gotta say that it is good to be back home, if only for a few days. I’m trying to catch up with family and friends that I don’t get to see as much as I’d like, and so far, my bar tab is showing my success in doing so.

It’s nice to have someone else to talk to that is not Hanson. Not that he’s a jerk or anything. We’ve just talked about everything already.

And he’s a jerk.
