Days off are few and far between sometimes. Today was one of ’em; and I gotta tell ya, I’ve had better ones.
Things I did today:
I went to the bank to deposit a check that I had apparently forgotten to take with me. Must be on my desk at home…
I finally filed my state taxes…18 days late! Eep!
I’ve been keeping my evening open to hang out with a good friend of mine for his birthday. As of right now, it looks as if the birthday boy’s gonna stand me up. What a jerk!
I’ve been on an awful kick of only sleeping for 5 1/2 – 6 hours a night. It ain’t fer lack of time; I just can’t sleep more than 6 hours lately. So I tried to take a nap today and failed miserably.
And now I’m bored.

Another friend’s out to dinner with his special lady friend.
Hanson’s in Brooklyn.
My folks are in Florida.
Maybe I’ll just turn in.
