In late February (the 22nd) we are going to be performing a very special show.  We have been accepted into a live music series in the DC hosted by the Atlas Performance Center called the Intersections Festival.  This festival runs for over two weeks and focuses on local professional artists of all types and genres.  One aspect of the festival is collaboration.  Thus, we will be performing a joint show with The John Kocur Quartet to open up the entire festival.  Our show will consist of short sets by Herb & Hanson and The John Kocur Quartet, followed by a set of music with all musicians on stage, using our knowledge and talents to create what we hope will be some interesting music combining the mathematical music masters of jazz composition and the rag tag duo of acoustic new roots music.  Acoustic Destruction meets Smokin’ Jazz.  How could that be bad, right?  How cold it be anything except incredibly awesome?!?  It can’t.  So please check out the series and come and join us at the Spenger Theater in the DC on February 22nd for a heck of a show.  Tickets go on sale on January 10th.

Bonus pic of the week:  A nasty looking caterpillar.  Danger!
