Alright, alright.  First and foremost, thank you so much to everyone in PA, NY and VT for all the love the last couple of weeks.  It was a great run of shows and great time catching up with everyone.  We’ll hopefully see you all again sooner than later.

This week, we’ve got some love for the hometown folks of the DC region.  On Thursday night we’ll be returning to Cause in the DC to help support some very worthy charities by rocking out and taking names.  You can help their causes just by coming out and eating some great food and drinking sone great beers at the philanthopub while listening to the music.

And on Friday night we have a doozy of a show at the Sprenger Theater in the DC for opening night of their Intersections Festival.  We will be teaming up with our good friend John “The Smoker” Kocur and his jazz quartet to see what happens when you mix his modern jazz with our new roots sound.  It promises to be interesting and awesome when saxophone, piano, bass, and drums collide with an acoustic guitar and mandolin.  You don’t wanna miss this.  You can get tickets RIGHT HERE.

Saturday night finds us finishing up our monthly residency at Ragtime in Arlington, VA.  We’ve played there pretty much once a month for a looooong time.  But that all comes to an end on the 23rd.  Please join us for a very special goodbye.

Pretty exciting, no?  Hopefully you all can make it out to one, two or even ALL of those shows.  Time is running out to catch the sweet, sweet rhythms and rhymes before our upcoming hiatus.  Thanks for clicking the update!  Your photographic reward for this week is a two parter.  Our personal band photographer wanted to take some portrait shots of us the other day and these are the result.  Herb’s is up top there.  And here is Hanson’s.  He had to break out the macro lens to get the whole beard in the shot.  No foolin’.  Enjoy!
