Hello all you people out there that have not forgotten us!  It has been over a month since our last performance and life is very different at the moment.  As most of you know, ol’ Herb is out walking the Appalachian Trail right now.  He should be somewheres in the Tennessee wilderness right now I think.  But really I don’t know where the heck he is.  Haven’t heard from him in a least a week or so.  I’m sure he’s fine.  You can follow his kinda recent status over on his blog RIGHT HERE.  It’s fun.

And I am living in a top secret location and in disguise while working a straight job for a few months.  Well, it’s not too straight.  I don’t really have regular hours or a regular place I do the work.  And I spend a lot of time out in the beautiful weather and I get paid in cash.  And drink a lot while working… It doesn’t sound straight at all, does it?  But what it is, is pretty awesome.  I’m loving it.  You all should come visit sometime.  If you can find me.

In Herb & Hanson news, well, there ain’t much.  I’ve begun filling up the schedule for the fall.  I’ve been trying to do a lot more writing, as Herb and I have tentative plans to go back into the studio this winter to record a bunch of songs for you guys.  Good songs. Great songs!  It’s gonna be awesome.  I will be performing at an event on May 4th out in Reston, VA with my good friend Matt Robinson joining me on the mando.  Shhh.. Don’t tell Herb.

Here’s your photographic reward for clicking the link.  It’s a picture of some flowers that are blooming in my yard right now.  They are called Bleeding Hearts.  You can probably see why. I had never seen such a plant before and my excitement level was high.  Thought I’d share it with you in case you , also, had never seen such awesomeness.  Enjoy!
