Hi all! Thanks for joining us in Charlottesville last week. That was cool.

This week we’ve got a couple of shows for you northern Virginia folks. And they’re both free! On Wednesday evening we’ll be in the Del Rey portion of Alexandria to play songs at The No. 9 Lounge in Evening Star. Show starts at 8. I’m thinking we’ll start it off slow, kinda mellow. Then gradually gain momentum until by the end you’re wishing we’d stop rocking out so hard because your delicate ears cannot handle anymore of those sweet, sweet rhymes and raucous rhythms. You know, the usual.

On Saturday night we return to the Old Bust Head out near Warrenton, VA. This place has been putting out some amazing beer since it opened last August, and the music scene is really getting going. On this particular evening, the music begins a bit on the earlier side at 5pm. I know what you’re thinking. Can one handle such a powerful force of Acoustic Destruction at such an early hour? You can. Trust me.

On to some other announcements.

Here’s a little early notice for our show next Thursday (Feb. 5th) at Gypsy Sally’s in Washington, DC. We’ll be teaming up with a couple of great acoustic acts for an incredible night of music. The Plate Scrapers and Hollertown will be your other musical dishes for the night. It’s gonna be tasty. And the whole night only costs 10 bucks. Everyone should be there.

Our next DC show after that will be almost exactly a month later when we will be participating in the Intersections Festival at Atlas in NW. We’re gonna be Cafe Concert Artists on March 6th. The whole festival is an amazing experience with so many incredible artists from a myriad of disciplines. There’s music. There’s dancing. There’s singing. You get the idea.

And lastly, we are happy to announce that we’ve been added to the lineup for the Sleepy Creek Spring Dig in Berkeley Springs, WV. It takes place the first weekend in May, and H&H will be doing our part on Friday. Other acts include Holy Ghost Tent Revival, Grand Ole Ditch, Bumper Jacksons, and a ton more. Check out their facebook page for all the details.
